Ok, yeah, we're pretty darned proud of
our 4H kids.
We have kids from 4
different school
districts, ages 8 to 18 that train, groom and show our llamas in
different llama shows around the state of Michigan.
These kids
work very hard training with the animals, teaching them to walk thru,
over and around different types of obstacles.
The llamas are also
trained to do PR work; they are learning to be comfortable around
wheelchairs, IV poles, doors, carpeting, etc., so that they can go to
nursing homes, schools, libraries, etc..
